Switzerland has a federalist healthcare system characterized by a high number of different players with heterogeneous IT infrastructures. Because of the incredible flexibility and integration capabilities, service-oriented architectures (SOA) are particularly suitable for interlinking electronic data traffic between hospitals, doctors, pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients. One of our key focus areas is therefore the design and realization of innovative e-health solutions, such as for communication between medical and administrative systems, or for integrating electronic insurance cards into hospital processes.
